Golf is really a very silly game.
You try to hit a little white ball that isn’t even moving, yet it hardly ever goes where you want it to go.

Still, the game’s addicting. The environs are incredibly pleasant—all that fresh-mown grass, trees and, often, mountains, water, and fascinating topography.
And golf, like skiing, readily provides reasons to travel. Because, more often than not, there’s fascinating country where the golf courses lie.
So—fore!—let’s get out there and play a few rounds, drink a few rounds, and make the rounds of the local sights.
